Renovation project in Fahler, Alberta

By | Recent Activity | No Comments

This renovation project in Fahler, Alberta was the next best thing to a new build for our client.
A simple upgrade to some of the key cleaning equipment and a re-designed flow of their current facility has increased productivity and overall efficiency.

Although renovation projects are not traditionally as exciting as new builds, they provide us with an opportunity to display our creativity, innovation, and skills. Our integrated team of designers, engineers and trades people are focused, think differently, and seek alternative solutions to seemingly insurmountable tasks. Our goal is to work within the constraints of the site, and budget, to develop a facility that performs for longevity.

The Fahler Seed Cooperative project involved the replacement and upgrade of the Wind & Screen machine to a new Cimbria 107, the replacement and upgrade of the Gravity table to a new Cimbria Heid GA310, new placements on the existing equipment with a new cyclofan, ducting and transition that allowed for a redesign of the plant flow.

New Walinga Negative Air System

By | Recent Activity

We recently completed the installation of a new Walinga negative air system for delivery of rough grain to the process area at and oat facility near Saskatoon

Scalable, Any size, Anywhere.
These negative air system are suitable for bulk transfer stations, steel mills, bakeries, food processing, chemical and other particulate manufacturing. Systems can be installed indoors or out and service multiple drops even multiple buildings. They are fully scalable, extend the system as you grow your business.

Minimize the Health and Explosive
risks associated with dust. This new Central-Vac System features a much smaller footprint, more consistent suction and ‘Dumpster Full’ Auto Shutdown. The
Walinga Central-Vac with Air Purge is designed
according to NFPA guidelines.

Air Purge Primary Cyclone
The new Air Purge Primary Cyclone combines three traditional components, the primary cyclone and bin, a secondary cyclone and bin plus filter canister into one integrated Air Purge Primary Cyclone unit.

Dust collection systems are a critical part of several industries.  They are used with the main purpose of controlling, reducing, and removing contaminants, harmful matter, gas fumes, and dust. These systems  are engineered to purify and filter air such that it can be released into the surrounding environment or back into the workspace. For this  Oat Milling plant the client chose a dual system that combines cyclone technology and baghouse collection.

High Efficiency Dust Collection

The first of two high efficiency dust collection systems was recently completed by our crew at MGM Seed and Grain. Not only does this  new system greatly improve the collection and containment of process dust, it also has considerably changed the profile of the building adding 40 vertical feet to this already massive oat milling facility.

Every project we work on is unique and we like a challenge!

The LPL crew expertly maneuvered the Pulse Jet Dryer into it’s final position in this assembly at Heads up Plant Protectant in Saskatoon.
This heavy lift  was accomplished with our SPYDERCRANE & telehandler working in tandem at the hands of our skilled operators.
