Renovation project in Fahler, Alberta

By | Recent Activity | No Comments

This renovation project in Fahler, Alberta was the next best thing to a new build for our client.
A simple upgrade to some of the key cleaning equipment and a re-designed flow of their current facility has increased productivity and overall efficiency.

Although renovation projects are not traditionally as exciting as new builds, they provide us with an opportunity to display our creativity, innovation, and skills. Our integrated team of designers, engineers and trades people are focused, think differently, and seek alternative solutions to seemingly insurmountable tasks. Our goal is to work within the constraints of the site, and budget, to develop a facility that performs for longevity.

The Fahler Seed Cooperative project involved the replacement and upgrade of the Wind & Screen machine to a new Cimbria 107, the replacement and upgrade of the Gravity table to a new Cimbria Heid GA310, new placements on the existing equipment with a new cyclofan, ducting and transition that allowed for a redesign of the plant flow.

Get Your Foundation Right

The benefits of Helical Screw Piles

This type of piling system is valued for its rapid installation, minimal environmental impact, and low footprint on the jobsite. Screw piles have immediate load carrying capacity and work well in high groundwater conditions. These piles are fabricated in sections making it easy to extend or reduce the length of the installation needed to suit the site conditions and design requirements. Screw piles are also a great solution if you are in a remote area or have limited access. The best part, they can be installed year-round in pretty much any weather condition and they are completely removeable. Although they are typically used a permanent foundation, helical piles are easily unscrewed back out of the ground at the end of a project leaving little environmental impact.
