Onsite Office Assistant

MAIN DUTIES
  • Responsible for the daily submission, to the head office, of purchase receipts for the materials needed for the construction on site.
  • Help the Foreman with the daily submission, to the head office, of the time cards, work orders and tailgate meetings.
  • Assist the Foreman in purchasing for the site.
  • Responsible for doing hotshots for the site.
  • Responsible for the daily housekeeping of the modular office on site.
  • Responsible for the port a potty, call for maintenance when needed, make sure sufficient paper products are provided, hand sanitizer, etc.
  • Follow the instruction of the General/Site Foreman.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Clean Drivers Abstract is required
  • Completion of secondary school is required
  • Knowledge of a working construction site.
  • Safety- knowledge of the Muster Point, first aid, first responders.

Journeyman Welders - NOW HIRING

MAIN DUTIES
  • Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
  • Demonstrate skill and accuracy in processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding(GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), plasma arc welding (PAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), Oxy-acetylene welding (OAW)
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
  • Operate brazing and soldering equipment
  • Reinforcing – fabricates on -site and installs reinforcing material
  • Erection, Assembly and Installation – Installing primary and secondary structural members, installing components and systems and installing conveyors, machinery and equipment
  • Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks and tractors to position machinery and parts during the installation, setup and repair of machinery
  • Construct foundations for machinery or direct other workers to construct foundations
  • Assemble machinery and equipment to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment
  • Engage in the initial installation of the industrial plant machinery and equipment.
SAFETY
  • Knowing and understanding the requirements of OH&S
  • Knowing, understanding, communicating and ensuring compliance with the OH&S,¬†and company safety policies and procedures.
  • Attend mandatory safety tailgate meetings
  • Ensuring completion of initial safety and hazard assessments
  • Participating in safety/incident investigations
  • Ensuring that vehicle and equipment checks are carried out

General & Skilled Labourers - NOW HIRING

To be considered you mush be:
  • Physically fit and able to lift, push, pull 70lbs consistently
  • Willing to work away from home- 10 on and 4 off
  • Mechanically inclined
  • A team player
  • Focused on quality workmanship
  • Experience with grain handling systems (an asset)
  • Safety conscious- Certification in Fall Arrest, Skid Steer/Forklift & Man Lift Operation, Confined Space Entry, First Aid/CPR and Construction Safety Training an asset.

Additional experience in sand blasting, painting, equipment operation, welding an asset.
