Join our team as a Construction Foreperson
LPL is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a skilled Construction Foreperson to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. This role requires travel to project sites within Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

Over our two decades of operation, we have successfully completed a diverse range of construction projects in the Agricultural sectors across Western Canada.
Our specialization lies in the design and construction of grain handling and further processing facilities. With a project portfolio including fully automated protein fractionation, oil press, flaking, milling, and packaging facilities, LPL has been providing exceptional services to clients for over 20 years.

Key Responsibilities of the Foreperson:
- Participate in scheduling and workplace planning.
- Manage and maintain client relationships.
- Contribute to safety/incident investigations and reviews.
- Identify needs and deficiencies in the plan/schedule and communicate this to the appropriate people.
- Ensure quality and inspection of installation.
- Apply project procedures and work site policies.
- Complete quality reports and required statistics.
- Provide crews with adequate supervision to accomplish tasks in a safe effective manner.
- Coordinate manpower movement within their area.
- Ensure all workers receive the proper training.
Requirements:
- 7 years of experience in the construction industry, with 5 years of leadership experience.
- Journeyperson trade certification in a relevant trade (Welder or Millwright).
- Clear understanding of building codes for the medium industrial construction industry.
- Demonstrated ability to set and manage priorities to meet all deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with the MS Office Suite and technology competence.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract.
